Global Youth Union Foundation is organizing a charitable campaign for 50 children with special needs of Yerevan Specialized Boarding School # 2. You are welcome to join in with your donations, in the form of toys, clothes, sweets, game organizing and other initiatives! Those children are thankful for any kind of attention and are certainly in need of it.

On May 30, Sunday 2010, elections were held in Georgia for local councils and for mayor of the country's capital, Tbilisi. On this occasion Global Youth Union Foundation jointly with its Danish partner ”Support Initiative for Liberty and Democracy“ NGO (SILBA), conducted an election observation mission in Tbilisi. Delegates from Poland, Belarus, Denmark, Georgia and of course Armenia were present. The main goal was to visit polling stations and check, whether the elections were held democratically and without frauds. The EOM was financed by the ALDE group in the European Parliament. During the 6 day program, participants will get involved in workshops in different topics and meet with the local people living in the village as well. Call for Applications Training of Trainers Yerevan and Regions, Armenia
Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS), Armenian UN Association (AUNA) and Global Youth Union Foundation with financial support of the UN Development Program (UNDP) in Armenia are jointly starting the implementation of ”Youth against Trafficking“ project. The project will be implemented in the following regions of Armenia: Armavir, Ararat, Kotayk, Shirak, Lori, Aragatsotn, Gegharqunik and in Yerevan. The Project Goal is: To raise awareness of the society, particularly youth on the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) adopted by the RA Government in November, 2008 and other available support and services provided to trafficking victims. Although fashions are hard to explain, in this case it is partly caused by the actuality of the events in the Caucasus. In many regions of Europe there were and still are various conflicts, at various levels and at various stages. It lies in the understanding of so called ‘big conflicts’ that most of us came to realise that it is in the small every day things, that holds the potential of conflicts between persons, cultures, religions, etc. Therefore, trainings has been developed in the youth field to tackle and resolve conflicts at various stages of the conflict escalation ladder. This project enabled participants to learn how youth work and non-formal education can help to promote the inclusion of national and social minorities. The activity was directed to Human Rights, against violence and discripimination among young people. It also provided a forum to discuss ways of reintegrating young offenders into society.
